The 50th Anniversary Campaign
A Development Campaign to mark the 50th Anniversary is underway.
Scholarships are a Priority
The first $500,000 (unrestricted funds) raised in the campaign will be designated toward scholarships so that families with need can receive timely assistance with tuition costs. The fund will provide greater access to grants and financial aid while helping keep tuition rates stable for all families.
Total to be raised for Scholarships: $2 million
Capital Building Projects
A “mini master plan” has been developed that prioritizes facility needs and envisions the future of the West Catholic building complex. The 50th Anniversary Committee believes that the plan is fiscally responsible yet visionary, balancing financial realities with the desire of our parents and student for an academically superior education that is rooted in our Catholic faith.
Major areas of focus for the Capital Building Campaign include:
Grand Entrance The focal point will be a new “front door” or Grand Entrance on the south side of the building encompassing the current gymnasium entrance and surrounding internal space.
Information Commons Inside the Grand Entrance, an Information Commons will be a gathering place that enhances collaboration and encourages exploration; a versatile, multi-use space where students can study in small groups or work together on larger projects.
Alumni Plaza A place to welcome our alumni, including a concessions stand is planned for the south end of the athletics complex.
Unrestricted Fund These funds will enable West Catholic to take care of whatever needs arise, including general maintenance, as well as the reclamation of property currently occupied by unused structures.
